And still I am shocked when pictures like this arise from themselves - remembering you working on this and how it lifted itself out of its two dimensions and showed itself present. It makes me think of the acorns the other night, and how I wondered at how we miss so many things. And sometimes things come forward to us and don't let us miss them.
This picture has legs. It comes after us. It is a little scary, and somehow mystical, too.
