I think the real challenge to photographers is to shoot what's at hand. With fuel prices the way they are, I'm personally finding it difficult to take my little weekend photo excursions. This is a very inspiring piece of work indeed!
I agree with Stickup Artist - but I would add that it isn't so much a challenge being limited to what's near at hand for subject, as a liberation. One that some artists thrive on.
