That needs a lick of paint. Or another lick of flames. Amazing surfaces. What does it smell like there? Ashes, grass, dust.....? Curious. Too bad the Internet isn't Scratch'n'Sniff-ready.
Peter - i think this place is beyond paint now and quite a bit different from last year when we were there. i read in WIRE years ago, someone was saying that they were waiting for the scent of flowers to come through the screen. thank you.
the perspective on this shot is brilliant. and yes, the layers of paint! speaks to the layers of years. curiously enough the smell was only of outdoors, wasn't it?
