I felt a drop before it hit the earth, pain before the match struck dry kindling, before the felled tree - grew.
A seedling - am I - waiting for a drop.
first, the construct, the foot to foot walk outside and disconnected self; and then the drawing back into self but yet sitting beside self there at fire - thought resurrected; and then the greater universality of it (which is my favorite part) and how wet and dry are but shades of one another!
