Lace left behind

  1. It breathes, this piece does. Brings to mind the curtain that I don't know and yet know. Perhaps that's where the story came from. Perhaps it's you planting stories in me like seed. This shot is so very ghostlike. I'd like to see the straight black and white(s) posted here as well. I'd like to know who moved behind the curtains.

  2. erin - ...and i replaced the photograph with one you had seen before, at first under duress-my own doing, and then because it was the better of the two.
    thank you.

  3. I didn't mean for you ever to replace it, but to show the added dimension of the stark black against white. This one has a stronger sense of story for me. Every fricken time I look at it for some reason book comes to mind. How is it that this reminds me of a book? Somehow the door, perhaps, under the lace? I don't know, but it speaks to my curiosity.

You do me too much favour in listening between my words. Be calm and confident in your skill. You teach me. You show me.
